Do you have a blog somewhere (like on Blogger.com or Wordpress.com) you can now have a link to your latest blog post in the signature. When you post something new in your blog the signature link will update with the latest title and link to your blog post . Hopefully you will get some curious people to your blog this way since your blog posts will show up everywhere on this forum where you have posted something.

To give you an example this is my signature where I have circled the automated blog link:


To get this on your own signature you just update your profile with the feed link: User Control Panel > Profile > Blog feed URL


We've tested this using both Atom and RSS feeds and it should work fine also if you're using Feedburner.

The link limit for signatures are maximum 3 links, but this feature will actually give you 4 links. If you need to edit your signature after this has been activated you need to remove the automated link to be able to save your new signature, but don't worry since the automated link will be added again in the next update.

Blog posts are updated automatically, but maximum once per day so if you would like to speed up the pinging you can ping the following link:

This is only working if you replace YOUR_FORUM_USERNAME with your real forum user name (the one you selected when you registered), and you must also have filled in the feed link in your profile. We will maximum ping your blog once every 4th hour this way.

Use plus signs instead of the spaces, or sign up for a new account.

If you have a feed URL the server will look for updates in your feed even if you don't ping, so you don't have to ping. It's optional to ping.
