I installed Cookie Password Protection on another server and the installation went well.

However, when the script is processed, the php return does not correctly address the return...

http://gliq.info/gliqdb/join.php works and the signup will be entered into the database

The return action also works:

http://gliq.info/gliqdb/join.php?action=join

However, the link that is returned does not work:

Welcome to my page!
Use user name testname and password 12345 to login at my page. [ the word "page" is hyperlinked and the link returns ]

" http://gliq.info/%22index.php/%22 " (Note: no directory [ /gliqdb/ ] appears and %20 does appear.

In addition:

From this URL:

http://gliq.info/gliqdb/admin.php

Enter:

U: admin
P: 7188

This is the reply:

http://gliq.info/%22/gliqdb/admin.php?action=login\" Please note the [%20] between the root and the directory.

Any ideas?

Error above: %20 should be %22

Here are some screenshots of the situation...

Thank you,

I've never seen this before. It looks like your PHP installation is adding " in the links. Which host did you move to and what version of PHP are you using?

PHP Version: PHP Version 4.4.9

I didn't move to another server, I still have designerq.info with exavier.com (and my CPP doesn't work over there).

And my initial site is gliq.info (which is where I'm trying to install cpp_29 now) is hosted by Omnis.com.

I intend to keep both sites.

View the MySQL Dump at this URL: http://designerq.info/MySql_Percent_Signs.htm

Please note the numerous % signs in the database that might not belong there.

Note That:
[ http://gliq.info/gliqdb/index.php/ ] returns as: [ http://gliq.info/%22index.php/%22 ]

[ http://gliq.info/gliqdb/admin.php?action=login\ ] returns as: [ http://gliq.info/%22/gliqdb/admin.php?action=login\ ]

And the login button should be [ Login ] or [ Login ] not [ \"Login\" ]
(I understand that [ \" ] is PHP code to doc.write a [ " ]
